February 2022- Glamping at Santee State Park #3

In honor of Black History month I camped at Santee State Park for 4 days and 3 nights. This was my first solo camping trip of 2022. Friday 02/25/2022, I left work at 3PM and made it to the site by 5ish. My youngest brother and his family (Christy, Mike Chris, TJ) came to the site to help me set up.

I camped at site #47 which looks like one of the best sites on the campground.   For the most part the weather was perfect, breezy and cold. Just like I like it. I bought my heater, a table fan and a high velocity floor fan.

Hiking, bird watching, walking, cooking occupied my time. Defintely not the last trip to Santee State Park.

Bangin Vegan Eats Food Truck- Charleston, SC

I've been following Banging Vegan Eats on Instagram for a while, so I told myself the next time they're near me I would give them a try. On Sunday they were parked outside of the Westbrook Brewing Company in Mount Pleasant, SC. I was attending a sound bathing session on Sullivans Island later that day, so this was the perfect time to indulge.  I placed my order at the food truck window for the Hunny Garlic Bangers. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Fried breaded cauliflower drenched in a agave garlic sauce topped with a ginger sriracha aioli and scallions. Firm and crunchy on the outside, soft firm texture in the inside. This was a 10/10, definitely recommend.  The wings were so good I did a little research and decided to order the Mac Attack Fries. This order was place online through the street food finder app. These fries had so many levels of flavor. Seasoned fries topped with mac n cheeze that good good ranch, buffalo sauce and scallions. My portion was big enoug...
